Venezuelan-Italian artist Manuel Scano Larrazàbal creates large-scale sheets of ink- dyed paper by using intricate kinetic installations that appear to dance across the gallery floor. Finding beauty in the quotidian, Larrazàbal adapts rotating fans to act as silent puppeteers; his works, suspended on wires, are then teased into movement, as if propelled by some emergent life force.
