Oliver Clegg is a conceptual artist working at the intersection between two- and three- dimensional disciplines, depicting lost toys, building blocks and upset strollers painting on found ordinary objects such as chess sets, dismantled school desks, drawing boards and old diaries. Dreams are central to the scenes, forming a liminal space between reality and surreality, with his work being imbued with symbolism while engaging with language, narrative and memory.
